If the main approver for a transaction is unavailable, Tradogram provides flexible options to keep approvals moving:

Alternate Approvers

• Each approval rule can have up to 5 alternate approvers.
  
  
• Alternate approvers have the same authority as the main approver and can approve on their behalf.
  
  
• They can be added or removed at any time, and changes will immediately apply to all active approvals.

“Away” Status for Main Approvers

Main approvers can set themselves as unavailable in their profile:

1. Go to User Profile > Email Settings.
   
   
2. Select Set Status as Away and Notify Alternates for Approvals.
   
   
3. When this is enabled, alternate approvers will automatically receive notifications to act on pending approvals.
